Recipes on a Budget

A big part of any family is making sure you all get fed. I know there are still people out there who look down on food stamps. I’m here to tell you – who cares what they think? Are they going to buy groceries for you? No. So forget them. If you need food stamps and can get them, GET THEM.

I have gotten as little as $10 but I didn’t care. That was $10 worth of food every month I didn’t have to worry about. The point is, whether you get food stamps or you pay cash, you have a limited budget for the month to make sure everyone doesn’t starve. I remember when my daughter was about 14. I had a good job by then but it is still hard sometimes on a single income. There were many times when my daughter ate a lot of ramen noodles and I ate PB&J (I never have cared for those noodles lol). BUT – we did not starve.

I want to share a few recipes with you. They don’t cost a lot to make and were always favorites for my daughter and now her kids as well. And most of them take less than an hour to prep and make. If you have any recipes you would like to share, feel free to leave a comment or email me at angela@mosm.info. Enjoy!
